As your log home dealer we will assist you with following:
  • Choose your log home plan, either stock, modified or custom.
  • Help explain  the steps necessary to complete your project.
  • Provide you with construction drawings for your permits and financial institution. Detailed instructions and stack sheets
  • Arrange delivery to your building site.
We are at this time a dealer and NOT a construction contractor.
The log home kit we will provide to you is the exterior log shell and all hardware needed to construct the shell on  your foundation. You will need to either hire a qualified builder or act as your own contractor and build it your-self.
You save cost by purchasing roofing, doors and windows and finish materials locally and negotiating for the best prices.

Note: Michigan has recently adopted the Uniform Energy Code. We recommend that you consult with an energy specialist familiar with the energy zone that you plan to build in to find out how to be in compliance and how to build an energy efficient home and save money.  You can download a free REScheck program from www.energy.net
Plan on using energy saving points for your plans rather then prescriptive methods. For example: wall thickness  by prescription would be required to be R 21, but if energy healed trusses are used and smaller window openings are designated then R19 walls will be allowed. Remember that building code officials only interpret the codes not write them.
